Funny you say that. I just talked to HummerMike today about ordering the rear diff and leaf spring plates. I wasn't sure if they were necessary. You just answered my question.

Second time I took my H3 offroading the front plate bent parallel to the ground. I was more than a little perplexed as to when it happened, since the bumper was untouched. Probably going through some of the water holes.

Using all four license plate srews....not them ebay big ole H3 nuts, ....works to keep the plate where it is supposed to be without a bend, I like the scrapes it gets.

That trail was deffinetly a challange, fun though. My carnage was one banged up center cap (don't know why I didn't take them off) lots of new AZ pinstriping bent rear bumber and plate. I took almost 1600 pictures but after going through all of them I kept 407 of them, they could be looked at here. www.jdeorta.smugmug.com here are a few though.
