Default Yaw Sensor?

Check engine light came back on and 6 codes were thrown. I thought I had taken a picture but phone did not save them. The yaw sensor apparently threw a code. 2 others were for the coolant temp being below normal (Radiator is cracked and being replaced Monday). Two others were for the MAF. Cleared the codes for now. I cleaned the MAF. I wasn't paying attention to the removal and can't recall whether the shiney side faces in or towards the back. There is an opening on one side so I assume that faces towards the inlet to hit incoming air. Am I correct in this?

The best way for me to describe it. Yaw sensor - is a sensor, usually mounted in the center of the vehicle, to help measure the amount of over steer or under steer. Its main use is for the vehicle stability control. Anyone else want to take a stab at it?
