Xenon HID installation help...
#11
I've actually removed my HID kit...
I never got the high-beams to work as advertised, and the DRLs needed to be disabled. Mounting the ballasts was relatively easy with sheetmetal screws - there's plenty of room on the inside of the engine bay near the headlights.
Fortunately, my kit was totally reversible - so I'mback to halogens. I've sent the kit back to the dealer for a refund. Oh well. It was a fun experiment!
Good luck.

RE: I've actually removed my HID kit...
Here's where I mounted my ballasts:
Lights on:
Bieng that the BCM controls the lighting systems I don't think you'll be able to get the high beam systems to work...not sure cause I never tried it but I doubt it. Also the reason the systems for the h3 are not true plug and play is because the H13 plug is still under patent so no aftermarket companies can make them...thats why you have teh spade connectors. As far as changing the fuse, you should not have to change out the stock fuse to a higher wattage one. If you are blowing the stocker then you are doing something wrong or have defective or cheap stuff.
