have a 2007 h3 with the inline 5 cylinder 3.7 and the thermostat housing has a 90 on it pointing towards the front of motor the replacement at auto zone and o rileys has a inlet with it coming strait out of the motor going towards the passenger side of the h3 went though every motor hummers came out with but none match the one on it the strait one would be coming though the power steering pump any one come across this problem

hey,i just remembered, I checked my ps fluid sat and the pump is up on the right side where that rightangle thing is. it looks like a water hose fitting number 308. the STRAIGHT thing number 305 appears to be a housing for the thermostat.

so it depends on what you really need.!! I bet you did not find your t stat in the 308 thing!

 

#308 if the engine coolant outlet, ain't no T Stat in that.

So yep, you be looking at the wrong thing.
