$149.99 for an oil change in the SRT-10 I use to have ... never paid more than $39.99 for the H2 and they always wash it and keep the little chrome I have looking good. Dodge charged me damn near 4 times that and wouldn't even fill the windshield wiper fluid up as a part of it ...

nope, standard oil. Guy told me that it's an hour job and there labor rate is $99.99 an hour so the price they are charging me is actually a bargain...unreal! I'm just pissed at myself for forgetting to ask how much before they did it. Kinda hard to ask questions when your by yourself holding on to a screaming 2 year old.

Since an oil change is standard maintenance, and has a standard repair time, I'd ask to see in the book how much time GM says it should take to change the oil. If the book says 20 minutes, he can only charge you 20 minutes, even if it takse his slow *** mechanic an hour to do it. That is what book times are for.
To be honest, the only time I ever drop a C note or more for an oil change is when my 12.7 Liter Series 60 Detroit powered Freightliner goes in, and then I get two one gallon oil filters, a one gallon fuel filter, a coolant filter and acid check, and about 12 gallons of oil. Yes, I said gallons. All of this for about $135, and it only takes 45 minutes. They top off the bug juice for free.
Seriously, my recommendation for you is to find another dealer, or go there for warranty repairs only. Your dealer sucks more than a Hoover.
