Default Wipers

I have been struggling with the wipers on my H3 and is driving me nuts. They are terrible in the winter I have winter blades on now and they suck. I have a spot right in front of my face that I can't see through. I do flex the blades and hit them on the window to knock the ice off but they just don't wipe. One of the writers at work has a H3 and regular blades and the same results. Does anyone have a solution? I really don't want heated blades. Thanks Steve

Not sure if there is anything other than heated that may work... You check out some blades that the big diesel trucks use... they may help...

There are some specifically designed for heavy duty, off road use, but not sure if they fit...

Sorry couldn't help... but I will let you be the tester, if they work, let me know, cuz mine suck too.

I just purchased the Valeo Ultimate blades at Tiire Rack. They should be here tomorrow. I hope those work better. The dealer installed winter blades for me and they're better than the stock blades, but.....not great. Dealership even admitted they have a design problem. (no kidding) So, today with lake effect here followed by an Alberta Clipper, I think I'll drive the Disco.

Go for the VALEO, I used them in Norway and they were just fine.
be careful if you use an automatic washing system with nylon brush, you have to put a tape on the wipers and block them on the winshield.

I just put on new winter blades cause my stockers ripped apart...man they blow chunks!! I need to get something new and fast. I aldo found it kinda odd that the drivers blade is 17" and the passenger blade is 16"....kinda makes buyin them in pairs a thing of the past I guess.

I got the best i could find around here and still no good. My wipers don't sit on the windshield where the heat hits it thus causing this problem

I was having trouble after a couple weeks of driving with my new H3 and the dealer washed the windshield with something and they work great now. They said that the stuff from car washes leave crap on the window that makes the wipers jump and skip.

I use The RAIN-X wipers here in CT on all of my cars/trucks and nothing beats them going on 4 years of use of this brand.
