I agree with Shortbus on the Warn 9500. I had it on my LR Discoand it was very sufficient. When I purchased it I spoke to some people witha lot moreknowledge than myself. Weight of your vehicle, resistance,****** blocks, amount of line out, etc, and many other factors are all things that factor intoyour choice. Please check but I think a Warn 9500 is more than you will ever need as I am not saying that is what you need.I am saying my past experience with this winch was fantastic and I justusually tend to stick to things that worked for me.I will watch and take notice as I to am ready shortly to add the winch and was wondering what I was going to use. But I loved the Warn 9500. Good luck, M

I have a T-max 9000lb winch on my 3, I've had no problem with, it's happened a few time where I had to winch myself up a steep hill over rocks and the winch work great, also winched a few H2's with it, not sure I would try to winch an H1, 9000lb is plenty.
