Those are all good winches. I think Warn is probably the most popular in my mind.

A good rule of thumb is 2x your vehicle weight. In your case a 9000lb winch is fine. Now if you plan on winching out H2's you might want to get a 12,000 lb one!

For what it's worth, I've been wheeling a long time, and would NEVER own anything other than a Warn or Ramsey. I've seen to many of brand X crap out when needed most.. which is anytime your using it, if you get my drift. Warn and Ramsey's cost a little bitmore (depending on model), but you get what you pay for.. and they can, and do, stand up toa lot ofoff road abuse, and still keep working.

Just my 2 cents

I agree with the fireman, Warn or Ramsey...I personally prefer Warn just cause they are reliable I have more experiance with them but I do have a ramsey on my boat trailer and that lil SOB has never let me down.

I have a Mile Marker and have been pretty impressed.
The military has apparantly started switching some of the hmmvee's from Warns to Mile Marker
My only complaint is it rusts like mad but with the amount of winter highway driving I do, that was to be expected.
