I would like to get a set of black HD Rock Star 18 x 9 inch rims. The bolt pattern is 6x5.5 (6x139.7) withan offset of 0mm back spacing of 5. I know the bolt pattern should work. I was told they won't fit but I've seen them on H3's in plenty of pics.If they won't fit, why? Is there anything I can do to make them fit? The people at Big O Tire have only confused me more. Please Help!

 

I forgot to clarify... Will they fit a stock H3?

 

a wheel with low offset and and low disc (deep dish) wheels will have problems clearing the brakes. especially in the front. you can fix that by running spacers to clear them. wheels with low offset but with a high disc ( flat looking or slightly concaved face) clear the brakes because the middle of the wheel is deep instead of the whole face/spokes of the wheel being deep.

 

They will fit without any additional hardware needed. I had a stock H3 taken right off the showroom floor and taken down the street to have the wheels taken off another vehicle and put on my stock H3 in 2006. They will rub a little on the plastic portion of the front bumper but they will fit. I can send you pics via email if you want. Send an email requesting them to me. Pculton4@aol.com.
