Wheel recommendation for Rancho Lift...
#31
In general, fasteners are the weak link in a mechanical joint. When you install “bolt-on” spacers, you have just added 6 more, potential, modes of failure per wheel.
If you REALLY want to run spacers, I would replace your lug-studs with extended studs and use a slip on spacer between the hub and the wheel.
That said, I would just get new wheels that don’t require spacers so you can avoid the whole headache!

again.... and again and again I say.... Wheel spacers are illegal in many many states and will not pas inspection. Lifts are not illegal and not only pass inspection, specifically have rules to pass.
What the hell are you talking about insurance not allowing lifts? I've owned SEVERAL lifted trucks in several states with several different agents, policies, and companies and HAVE NEVER EVER EVER NEVER had even a question. My company has 117 digital photos of my truck in high resolution.
I'm not going to discuss the wheel spacer thing anymore.... anyone can google wheel spacers legal and have 2 millions hits on them.

Yes, I'm not from US!
Living now in Hong Kong, but coming from Germany where we sure have the strictest regulations!
Nothing goes on your car whitout a TUV visit!
Spacers can be approved....Porsche even sells them for their 996 models!
I'm sure in US the regulations also change from state to state...
This everybody need to check for himself.
Agree to the comment of unnecessary bolt connections...but this can be covered with professional workmanship.
Finally it is the only way to keep the original rims...or new axels.
If you go for new rims, make sure you use a quality wheel...there are too many cheap products on the market (mostly bought container wise from China) what are sure more dangerous than spacer...especially when you go off road.
To close the discussion...excluding the fact if road legal or not:
Good quality billet spacer, professionally installed allow you using your original wheels...but do have negative side effects on your drive same as lower offset rims!
A spacer does not cause flying wheels!
" I already broke a drive shaft on an Wrangler I had before...during off road wheelin...root cause were huge tires....but that was not the problem....the problem is that I put them on against manufacturer recommendations.
When you go extreme wheelin there is always the chance that you ruin something and it may show of later on the road when you hit higher speeds!
A hit on the cardan shaft will most likely cause trouble on road then off road when going slowly...
...the list is long!"

I do not remember anymore the exact wording...road legal...!
It is a known Maserati race and accessories shop in US. They use spacers!
Kill me if I'm wrong, but H&R spacers you get in most places of the world approved. Limits are set by the strength of the drive strain.
Unfortuntely H&R has only spacers for the H2.

I also remember when I picked it up at the dealer they said he was running the wrong lug nuts for the rims they didn't seat properly and thats what they said was the root cause.

Those are some good looking wheels posted above, but don't be tempted to run any spacers. They are not worth the problems that you will face down the road, because of unnecessary wear.
Cheers

Spacers are garbage (and illegal as previsouly stated), however wheel adapter's if installed properly are fine, and as far as I know, legal in PA, not sure about other states, I passed inspection at 2 different stations and neither of the mechanics said anything about them, I had 1 1/4" hub-centric adapters on my last vehicle and they were fine, gave me the clearance I needed for the lift I had installed and never had a problem with them bought them here WheelAdapter.com is your number one source for wheel adapters, wheel spacers, used wheels, and wheel studs.
