Yes yes and yes! It sounds so weak/funny/pathetic/lame!

Passengers laugh their a$$ off whenever I hit the horn...

Good thing is, when i'm really pissed and I hit the horn, it sounds so stupid that i have to calm down and laugh.. nice road rage pill..

My CLK55 (or any other Benz I've driven/owned) seems to have really authoritative horn, especially the 80s ones. I might just buy a set and make a harness of some sort to replace the H3's stock horn...

I've never seen any horn offered but the wimpy one that comes with the truck. I have a mid-year 2007 and it has the sick cow sounding horn, it's embarrassing.

You might not have to remove the main grill. I removed the smaller grill (the one with the holes) easily, just push in. do what you got to do, (lots of room to get what ever horn you want in) and then pop the grill back into place.

We like pictures. One of the members can help you. For example, go to photobucket.com and set up a free account. Here you can upload your photos. It will give you a URL (hyperlink) that you can use in a post on here. We are anxiously await to see your cool photos of your H3 and mods...

I thought the "Horn" on the right was an air flow vent for the battery???

hmm....not on mine, mine isa horn. Actually the one on the passenger side is broke so I'm only using the oneon the drivers side. my battery vent tube is not hooked up(as you can see in the pic...I never had one on there actually. Also my horns are loud and very deep sounding...so maybe the dealer changed em before I bought it?....damn...now I'm curious[&:]

My horn went out yesterday. I checked the leads and no power was going to it. So I checked the Owners Manual. The horn is on a seperate fuse (#36). .25 cent fix now I'm back scaring small children, (insert evil laugh here). LOL

I bought a bunch of extra fuses, and there are spaces next to the live fuses to store them. I guess GM couldn't shell out the $3 for the spares.
