Did anyone measure? Its said 8.8 secs in specs but there was no information about the transmission. Was the car with manual or automatic gearbox? Lots of cars with auto gearboxes are 1-2 sec slower than ones with manual ones. What about Hummer H3?

 

Where are you reading 8.8 seconds?! Mine does 0-60 in about a half hour, so you might not miss a second or two. There are multiple engines. Are you interested in a particular engine? If you are looking to drag race the 6000lb brick you might want to turbo charge it:

I don't think that is taken from a factory spec. So who knows where they got it, or how. But, really.
