HI All
I went from Miami to the Keys yesterday (260 miles RT) .. I reset the AVG MPG after fueling the tank to count only HWY miles and the final number was 15 mpg pulling a jetski @ around 65 mph ...
Not bad at all .. Im guessing the same trip without the trailer would be 16-16.5
@yoymom ... If keeping a light right foot most H@ gets between 10 to 11 .. Lets take 10.5 as avg

10 mpg in town (I romp on the gas) about 14-15 highway.
Interesting little bit of info. The H2 out performs my 2011 Avalanche with in town mpg. The Avalanche gets a terrible 7-8 mpg in town. Smashes the hummer with hwy mileage tho.

A friend just got a 2008 Escalade , he was complaining about the MPG . only 11 in city and no more than 15 in HWY ... He had a H2 before ... He said even the escalade rides smother he rather the H2
The towing capacity is 8000 pounds great for puling a boat or big RV but with a 2x4 I want to see how well it perform in a slippery ramp while puling a boat
I dont know whats the big noise about the Hummer MPG when there are a few other luxury/SUV & trucks doing even worse ...
Well may be only envy

I get between 12 and 13 city and between 13 and 14 highway.
just pulled my 87 jeep comanche on a car trailer 350 miles maintaining 70 mph pretty consistently through the steep hills of west virginia and got just under 9 mpg. but the truck never really seemed to struggle, it just downshifted and went on about its way.
