I drive as much with mine in a year as you do in 5 years
40 k kms is like new. You should not have to worry about break downs for a long time. But yes if you do not want to drive it anymore then sell it and get someting else, but don't sell it because of warranty worries.

with k&n intake, gibson cat back exhaust and diablo sport predator programer, and keeping my foot out of it, I get around 12 city pretty consitently. I also have stock tires and i removed the roof rails.

Have a Volant air box/mass air sensor, Gibson Headers, and Flowmaster cat-back. In town i'm getting 10, highway being good on the pedal I get 14mpg. Definitly have plenty of power with a nice sound.

Funny when the first thing people ask me is what it gets for gas mileage. I tell them and they're surprised. The general assumption from most people is that it gets 4-8mpg.

Pulled a 15ft box trailer full of camping gear (boyscouts) with 5 people in the truck through the ozark hills with 65-70 mph
It sucked a gallon of gas every 8 miles or so

Those who worry about mileage don't really look so good in the Prius.... And when you look at their frightened faces when your right behind them at a stop light, worth the extra bucks at the pump.
