Factory slantbacks were only produced in 2000, are rare and expensive. CalGold makes a slantback kit for the HMC4. I think new they cost about 5K. Used I have seen then as low as $2500.00. Unless there is something wrong with the engine I wouldn't do the swap. Wait until it needs a rebuild. The 2wd TC doesn't really get you much. Everything is still turning. 9" lift...no. 32" wheels...no.
Brushguards, check out Rubberduck, BlueHummer, Predator and Magnum Offroad.

Sold my slantback to a guy in Houston about 9 months ago. There are two for sale in San Diego. Bill has them. If you are still in the market let me know. He wants mid 60s for one and mid 70s for the other last I knew.

My old red slantback is tooling around Houston now. Sold it to a guy who works for BHP ( Billiton ) Had 39,000 miles and was cherry. There are numerous really nice ones out there but with only 39 made you have to be patient.

I got by Magnum brush-guard on eBay. I searched for a while and it was the cheapest one I came across, around $1200. Some of them are priced in the stratosphere.
