Try the Hot Shine

 

I used the Hot Shine in my wheel wells and undercarriage parts..makes em look real shiney...

My problem with using Hot Shine and like products on the wheels, is the stuff always slings off and dots the rear fender flars and throw it on the sides..Even afterI let it drip dry over night..So I've been on a life long endevor to find the perfect tire shine dressing with out the sloppy residue, that lasts between washes...To date, I have not found anything to fully meet all those requirements...So I'll settle on a no sling formula that drys and stays put..this product of Meguires seems to fill the bill..



A little forum talk about it (yes there are other people besides me that has this **** fixation on perfection of car cleaning)

Actually, the best thing to use is a mixture of glycerin (aka 'glycerine')and water, as it won't deplete the natural oils which your tires are comprised of. Manymiddle to 'low-end' tire dressings havea tendency of depleting the natural oils from within the rubber compound; thus, promoting sidewall cracking (weather-checking) over time. This is also why those who have utilized some of these productson their vehicle dashboards have noticed that it too will begin to crack after a while. Glycerin may be somewhat hard to locate, but it does work the best. Also try and stick with the'high-end' water-based professional tire dressings, as their technology has become much better throughoutthe past several years andthey will also do a good job.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Please..If I can pass on anything useful on this board..DO NOT USE ARMOR-ALL..What Extreme was eluding to above is, ARMOR-ALL..It is mostly Sillycone and it will suck the natural oils and resins right of Leather, vinyl and rubbers...[:'(]
