Default What is the metal toggle switch under an H2's dash?

I recently purchased a 2007 H2 and noticed that there is a small metal toggle switch under the dash on the driver's side. It looks kind of like this:

Anyone have any idea what that is? I've searched the forums and online but haven't found anything.

It's the ejection seat. make sure the sunroof is open before you try it.
Seriously it's most likely an aftermarket add-on such as fog lights. What happens when you flip it and if it has wires attacched you might be able to trace where they go

Are you able to watch DVD movies with the vehicle in 'drive'?
If so, that switch is used to toggle the safety feature of the HU so you can't watch movies while driving.
And if you get pulled-over, you can toggle the switch (which grounds the signal) and the HU goes back to normal.
I have this installed on my aftermarket HU.

I have a custom stereo that was installed by the previous owner. It's a Pioneer AVIC700BT. It's supposed to play DVDs though I can't make that work. It will play other video files regardless of whether I'm in park, and toggling the switch doesn't seem to affect that.

Oh well. Thanks for the help. I wouldn't have known that this was a custom switch had you guys not told me.

Possible...
I've instead a few hidden "kill switches" on vehicles to prevent anyone from starting it.

Its not like were talking about some little ****box jap car here....stick your head under the dash and trace out where the wires go. If that switch is for an alarm/remote start, it should be pretty damn obvious. Going to be atleast 1 box under there.

Bingo...!! My old 2007 H 3 had a Viper alarm installed. Their was a small toggle switch under the dash which was used to prevent remote starting while working under the hood or for Valet use. Could be that.....
