The aspirator is a temp sensor with a small fan. It hooks to the climate control system to let it know what the temp is inside the cabin of the truck.

The fan makes noise eventually. Mine was making the noise when I got it. I paid the dealer just over $120 to replace it. You have to pull part of the headliner down to get to the sensor and I didnt want to deal with it. The aprt was maybe $40 at the dealer.

I found out it is an aspirator and when they get worn like anyother fan they make noise, I blew in my with a air hose hoping to clean the fan and thus stop the noise it seemed to help some

It is not working I hear only some little static noise out of it. What is it for and how to switch it off.

Thanks a lot.

If your talking about the flat round panel with all the holes in it, its actually a temperature sensor for your climate control. they get clogged up with dust and the fan in there will start making noise. Happened to me and I replaced it myself. ez to do .

It looks exactly like it. I don't remember the part # but that one that you listed is identical in size and shape.
