What DON'T You Like About Your H3?

RE: What DON'T You Like About Your H3?
Lack of interior lights up front.
Changing oil
No steering wheel mounted controls
No light inside of the glove compartment
Cup holder in the middle of the seat, instead of in the back of the center console.

RE: What DON'T You Like About Your H3?
seems the only complaint i have nowadays about my h3 is that it seems every time i hit the highway the stones keep hitting my windshield and leaving a crack. Loving the flat windshield, just a bit peeved at the fact that it attracts every pebble.... Wonder if they could could use some sort of plastic to replace the glass?????

My 2 biggest complaints are;
-that the tilt wheel doesn't tilt very far up, making it hard to get into
-they stuck the rearview mirror in the center of the windshield (it creats a big blind spot) and with the back-up camera it only has 1 swivel instead of 2 so you can't move it out of the way

No one mentioned the view of overhead traffic lights. I have to stop well behind the stop line at an intersection if I want to see an overhead traffic light turn green, or crane my neck. I'm only 6' tall.

RE: What DON'T You Like About Your H3?
-Door pockets are just about usless,
-Cup holders, to close together
-Need a spot for my HAM Radio
-window switches are at my elbow and I have to reach back to control them
-Blut over all, its a wonderful ride, even though there are some things about it don't like, I would still buy another one.

I might as well add one more item to the list. I have found that the inside of the rear passenger doors are a pain to keep clean. It is a minor issue. In the end, I am greatful to own and drive a Hummer.

Ok, I'm resurrecting this thread so I can rant.
The top ten things I dislike about my truck is...
1. This one is huge for me...WTF were they thinking putting a POS 5 cylinder in a 5000 pound car? Really? V8 should be standard with the alphas toting a Duramax or Turbo Deisel. This is Completley stupid.
2. The stupid net things on the back of the drivers seats that fall off with the slightest touch. I hate em.
3. Why is the interior rearview mirror the size of a postage stamp?
4. There needs to be an extended exterior rearview mirror towing option. I can't see chit around a decent sized trailer. Actually, I can't see why they made all the rearview mirrors so limited in a rig notorious for being hard to see out of.
5. Ground clearance to the rear diff...man I wish that thing was a couple inches higher.
6. Interior storage space sucks bad.
7. Carpeted interior? On a off road vehicle? Really? What genious thought that was a good idea. You can solve this problem yourself by ripping up the carpet, drilling a couple holes in the floor pan and buying boat plugs. But retarded to have to do this yourself.
8. The stock wranglers are horrendous.
9. Needs to be an honest to god two wheel mode.
10. No rear legroom. I would have opted for less space in the back since I can't use it for **** anyway, and more room between the front and rear seats.
There ya go.

On my 06, lack of cockpit storage--sunglasses, MP3 player, phone, etc, the window switches are stupid, a upper dash storage area would be nice, no wheel mounted stereo controls, no Bluetooth (my biggest complaint), heated seat switch locations is less than stellar....but I still absolutley LOVE this truck!!!!

My biggest complaint is that if I don't keep the key in my pocket all the time my wife will run off with the H3 and I won't see it for a long while! She likes it better than her Jeep Liberty so I can understand completely. Seriously, all the bad points have already been covered-
the 06/07 window controls, the rear seats that don't fold flat, rear storage bins could better use up the empty space over the tires, B-Pillar is unnecessarily large and creates a big blind spot, and for me it feels like the gear ratio (33's and automatic) is just too high as the H3 feels like it is running in a dip in the power band at legal hwy speeds and always wants to downshift too soon.

Window controls...sometimes I don't even realize I've rolled down the rear windows with my elbow.
I hate backing up in a parking lot...can't see chit!
Wish it had more power and better MPG. Being able to switch into 2WD would be nice also to get better MPG.
I do love my truck though!
