Not really major bitches...but they say they are not competing in the wrangle market.... that hummer is more of a luxery off road rig...then where is the luxery?
It is the fact that you don't have to be towed out.

I have to agree that there are many luxury items missing. The rearview cam would have been nice (I don't use mine since I leveled the front out). The DVD for the back seat would have also been nice to have (keeps keeps the driving critiques at a minimum).

One nice thing that it does have is the ability to pass more gas stations than the H2.

mine will never need to be towed out....i use the rubi for real off roading.

i get 10 mpg in my h3...so I'm right in line with most h2's at the pumps.

and rear seat dvd's are available

No adjustable pedals was my biggest one, but I modified them to suit. The car seems engineered for drivers under 5' 6".

Window controls was another (I have an '06)

Tiny door armrest that goes no where near my elbow. Again I modded it to suit.

Center armrest an inch too low. I raised it up on stilts.

"A" and "B" pillars make for unnecessarilly large blind spots. I miss stuff pretty often when turning. The tiny gun-port styled windows have the drawback of causing huge a, b and c pillars.

All the silly mess with removing skid plates to do an oil change. (I just leave mine off).

Nice too if the rear seats came out easier and left a flatter floor without studs sticking up. Perhaps in a future generation the seat backs could come out and a plastic pannel could cover the rear seat cushions,...leaving a flat load floor for hauling or sleeping.

Speaking of which,...not sure if the huge plastic rear cargo area sides are necessary. There's a huge amount of space between the inside of them and the insides of the tires. Seems that cargo area could be 4-6 inches wider if they wanted. That and the rear seats folding flat would greatly expand the vehicles' usefullness.

Is that because of the tires or do you have a lead foot? Because mine gets about 16 mpg as a DD, and I run the freeway portion of my mixed driving at 72 - 75 mph usually.

Seat control access, heated seat controlsand tilt wheel movement. I am not that big ( 6' 210#s ) but I have a hard time sliding under the steering wheel when I get in ( even at the highest it will go ) I don't mind the lack of lux options because I think all that crap is just going to die on me as soon as the warranty expires. They should offer a lux package with most, if not all, of the things being kicked around here. Since all vehicles seem to be compromises anyway I think it is an outstanding package. because the aftermarket is pretty weak for the Hummers I think GM should offer a stronger line of add on accessories.

cbetts; it is because IK has 35s and drives 80mph all over when he does drive it. I don't think IK knows how to ease it up to speed!

I want a T case that shifts into 2wd for the streets!!, and like Hawaiian Hummah said, those door pockets are worthless?
