Default What about 17's?

So it's been awhile for a new thread in Tire & Wheel, and I couldn't via searching find anyone who had put 17x9's on an H3, thanks to the crappy peeling chrome on my current H3 and the need for new tires, I'm considering doing 17x9 wheels with a 285/70R17 Goodyear Duratrac? Anyone done anything near this and have a picture to go with it?

Thanks in advance...

I run 33" Duratracs on the OEM 16" rims.
You can always paint, powdercoat or Plastidip the OEM rims to make them look better.

I prefer more tire sidewall for offroad.

Ok, due to the overwhelming responses, I ordered 16" DC-2's tonight, once the rims show up (because neither of my tire places sell them) I'm putting on 33" Duratracs, probably keep the OEM rims for rainy days...

Default Wheels

I have 18x9 rockstar wheels with 35/12.5/18 tires. I also have OEM wheels with 315/75/16. Both set ups are nice and you really could either way. The chrome i agree is crap, mine are peeling also. I do not think a 17 inch rim will gain much, if i did it over again i would have not put the 18's on. They stick out to far and throw a ton of crap on the side of the truck.
