Weird Noise coming from power steering pump??

Exclamation Weird Noise coming from power steering pump??

There is a weird buzzing nosie coming from the power steering pump i belive?? anyone got anything for me?? it gets really loud when i rev it or when im just driving down the highway. i was searching other posts about it nd i saw one saying he replaced his but the noise didnt go away... and then never put his solution??

Assuming you have checked your fluid level and you have not used some cheap recycled fluid brand,,,,
You should inspect your tie rod boots for signs of leaks of fluid to determine if the rack seals are blown.
The best way to do the next check is jack the front wheels off the ground. Remove the fluid reservoir lid and turn the wheel slowly lock to lock several times. That should bleed any air from the lines.
Be sure and top off the fluid if it goes down.
If it still whines, it's the wimpy poor quality pump in my opinion. Mine only does it at close to full lock when it has just been started up for the day. Pressure on the pump seems to cause the whine, maybe poor seals.
Of course larger tires add to the affect.
Then of course square one would be the belt.

i havent checked the tie rod boots ill have to do that today.. but the thing is my steering is fine.. the noise gets louder the hight the RPMs get. the noise doesnt get louder as i turn the wheel but im still gonna try bleeding it just to see how it helps.

Any of you guys replaced the PS pump on an H3? I think mine may be in the oven and will be cooked soon.

Make sure you bleed the system when changing the pump out. A lot of people just add fluid and can burn up the pump later on.
