Weird heater and heated seats problem
So it got cold here in Texas, and my heater decided to stop working, along with the heated seats. Here's what happens with the seats usually: turn it on, and then it turns off immediately.
Weird thing was, after driving for a bit, the heated seats worked, came on, and then so did the heater--hot air came out of the vents. After a minute or so, the seats kicked off, and then so did the heater. Back to cold butts and air from the vents.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Would unplugging the heated seats possibly get the heater working?
I just had to replace the starter motor, so I'd love to avoid another trip to the auto repair place.
Thanks in advance!

I could be totally wrong here, but could it be a a loose wire? At the same time, possibly a fuse with bad contact or one that's just going bad?
Either heats up, expands & creates good contact. With the cold weather, it shrinks & that's it.
It's just a guess.
