Default weathertech wearing??,the fix

it started as a nice saturday afternoon "tubby time" for my w t protector.
i could feel, then see a heel wear spot. i dried it, scrubbed again with isoprople alcohol and went to the barn for some "ice dam" sticky stuff. i had 2 kinds left over from roof jobs. i picked the rough textured over the smooth, maybe slippery stuff. cut a chunk to fit, heated both surfaces over the range. it really sticks.

my advice,do it now,do it new. at over $100 each piece i dont want a hole worn in!1

just out of curiousity, why didn't you make better cuts? Also, do you plan to add flashing later?

Default major benefit

the texture of the piece i picked was like sandpaper, probably so a roofer wouldnt slip on it.
wow, what a difference it makes in a vehicle. my right heel doesnt slip at all compared to my left, even wet with snow. a big safety issue as i have slipped and hit the gas b4 when just moving in the seat.
im going to add a piece on the left.
btw you really cant see it. at nite its dark, daytime its brite with sun or blinding snow outside so appearance is not an issue.
