Default Waving to fellow Hummer owners

Just wondering if its a Hummer custom to wave or flash at each other when passing by on the road? I have gotten both waves and flashes from other Hummer and modified Jeepers on the road.

It would be nice if we could all just get along..

I'm sick up to my ears with the Jeep wave crap. Lol! Previous TJ owner. Absolutly couldnt stand all the crap about YOU have to wave and yad, yad... lol! I like being friendly but not at cost of safety or nerves. I will for one not be doing the Jeep wave crap! But I'll smile at other motorist.
I enjoy just driving Happy and smiling. Your milage may vary.;-)

Apparently Jeep owners are just arrogant enough to believe that they invented the wave. I went through it with Jeeps, Harleys, Vettes, Porsches, and every kind of vehicle I have ever owned... Personally, I like it. I feel a kinship with people who drive the same thing I do. That is why I get together with them and that is why I join forums with them. I don't see what is the bother about it. But of course, I am from North GA and we grew up waving at each other anyway so it just seems natural. Apparently it bothers some people. I admit that very few Hummer owners wave, or even look. Now when I drive the Camaro... That is a different story. Not only do Camaro owners wave, so do other people.. and stop to talk at redlights and gas stations. I guess that would drive some people really crazy but I enjoy it. So if ya'll see me, feel free to wave!

Maybe it's a rural thing; a lot of people wave in farm country. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm driving a Peterbilt, a Powerstroke, or my wife's car. For whatever reason, I don't get as many waves in the H3.

I'm not sure about that, but I feel a certain arrogance or hatred toward Jeeps. Particularly, the Rubicon Unlimited or Wrangler Unlimited models that are solid black like my Tactical Edition. If I see them, I make it a purpose to park next to them, even if it is far away from the entrance of the store I'm going into. More than that, I park closer to the store's door so that whenever that Jeep owner has to come toward his Jeep, he has to walk past my Hummer and notice that it looks better and is vastly superior to his Jeep. (Even if the case might not be true, haha.)

I have thought about it but there are so many Hummers that are driven by soccer moms around here it would confuse them. When I drive my bus, the other VW drivers always wave and I do like that commraderie.
