Water in tail lights
#3
Its just two screws that hold the tail lights on. You can remove them and dump the water out. I haven't personally experienced this problem but I have taken the tails off a couple of times. When you have them off I would check for cracks in the seems. Once you find the source of the leak I'm sure some clear silicon would quickly remedy it.

I mean no disrespect but this is not true. It does not solve the problem it only alleviates one symptom. (A puddle of water in the tail light housing.) You still have water getting in there. This could lead to more problems down the line. as the water dries it will leave mineral deposits on the inside of the lense. (Granted this is very slight at first but will build up over years.) This will lead to poor light output. With no satisfactory way of cleaning this inside of the light housings this would lead to them needing to be replaced.

first,if the assembly shows no cracks the leak must be where the bulb plugs in, is it properly fastened.
you could run a bead of sealer above each bulb opening, diverting water away from the seal which may be leaking.
the small hole really should be a factory standard anyway. if you get enuf water in to cause a dirt buildup you must have a big hole somewhere and the little hole wont hurt till you fix it right or replace it.
if it gets really dirty u could dump in some soapy water and shake it up and hose it out!
a lot to do about nuttin!
