It's probably worth paying the $240 to have someone do it... I'm serious when I tell you the serpentine belts are a pain in the *** to change on the truck... although it might have been easier if stuff was taken off like you would have off when changing the pump...

anyways... the point of my drivel... buy the 2 serpentines and have them change them when you get the job done... piece of mind... preventive maintenance.. call it what you want... it's a good idea...

Had the water pump replaced today. Took the truck in at 8am and the shop called me around 11am to say it was ready. The bill was actually $220 labor plus the cost for approx 11 litres of dexcool. The new delco pump kit came with a new thermostat already installed in it. I am very pleased as the dealer would have charged me at least twice the price.

The name of the shop is De Cicco & Sons Tire and Auto. They are on Kipling Ave. just north of Rexdale Blvd. Mario, the owner has a yellow H2.

If I need something that is not under warranty, i will check them out for sure, I assume he is good with Hummers, you like him and his work right??

The prices seem very reasonable and the quality of work is great. My daughters boss has been taking his mercedes and porsche there for awhile. He recommended it to me.
