warranty
#2
When I bought my used H3 I got the extended GM warranty at time of purchase. To take to me to nearly 100k it was $3000 and $300 to start it, with a $200 deductible. I "talked" them down to $2300 but still the $300 to even just get it.
I was not going to buy another GM without it, after today I am glad I did.
My warranty on my Power Wagon goes to 137k and bumper to bumper as well was $1650, the bumper to bumper on the Nitro to 108k was $1200.
No deductible on either Mopar warranty.

When I bought my H3 they offered either the GMPP or a warranty from an aftermarket company. The GMPP was almost twice the cost of the aftermarket(probably because they know the issues So I went with the aftermarket company, Zurich. Same coverage for the most part, comparable rentals, etc. I was also told that mopdifications would not be scrutinized as much with Zurich. I do have a $100 deductable for a 3 year, 100k mile warranty. The 100k started at whatever the mileage was when the warranty was purchased, so for your case it would go to 148K. I have used the warranty once since I bought it and had no problems whatsoever. I had a cv shaft seal and pinion seal replaced and a new exhaust manifold installed. There were no delays for approval and I have been satisfied with my experience with Zurich.
