Default Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) wire? Need help with nav install

Hi guys... new to this forum... just got a 03' H2 and decided to change out the factory radio. Installing a Pioneer Avic-D1 and its asking for the vehicle speed sensor wire. Anyone know where I might be able to find this wire in the car? Hoping that someone in this forum may have done this similar install and can help out.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.

Hi there, use the VSS wire on the Instrument Cluster Connector (behind the Instr.Cluster)works fine ,if you need location on the connector ...let me know I have to look in the H2 for the connector end view that I printed out some time ago

wow clean job! hope mine ends up like that haha

Did you have any problems with the bose system? My rear door speakers are playing very very low but the front speakers are playing normally... checked the fade/balance and it was fine... wondering if you had the same issues?

Thanks again for the help

Hi there, thanks was hell of a job to install it....about the sound......I got the Lux Amp in my H2 ,and that has only two (left&right) pre in's.....so I cannot use the Fader (back to front or front to back )no more ,but all the rear speakers work on the same level like the front ones......did you use an Interface to keep the chimes ?? I used the Crutchfield GMOS 04 to keep that !
oh yea here s a copy of the connecter I was talking about .....VSS wire it is the DK GRN/WHT wire on A4

the vehicle speed sensor wire is located underneath the thermostat housing. There are a couple of different types of VSS but they all operate on the same basic principle. Hope it helps.
