Default Is a used 2003-04 h2 practical??

I've always wanted an H2 and now i actually am in a position to get one. I just paid off my Ford Fusion, My credit score is about 805 so i could easily get another loan. But i only make $14.25 an hour (but i do work alot of overtime) so my budget for a used H2 im thinking would be $22,000-25,000. which probably still is alittle too much but whatever.

So basically i can only get an 03-04 hummer h2 with low miles eg:

Victory Red H2

Black 03 H2

And what i want to know from you guys is if this is realistic?? i mean these are 7-8 year old hummers and from user reviews i've read, they have alot of problems with rust and there electrical systems.. And its not really like they have 'low miles' considering the price.

what do you think?

Actually its a great idea if you can find one not abused!

I have a 03, no rust, no damage, low miles 64,000 loaded Im thinking of selling for 18,000 Red Metalic

Be sure to budget for fuel, H2's suck the gas like Al gore without a shirt on sucks up the sun.

My H2 is an 03' Burnt Orange. It has 99,000 miles on it and I still love it. Over my 07' H3X that I sold, I gained heated rear seats, third row seat, heated mirrors, steering wheel controls, tons more room (since I usually have our 3 year old grand-daughter with us) and 300+ horsepower, plus 8500# towing. I also gained much due respect on the highways. These "big" beasts do command respect.
My only problem is that I can't get my wife out of it. I have a 2010 Mustang convertible and she always wants to drive the Hummer. She says that she likes to see over other cars so she down the road further and she feels safer in it.
I would love to get an 07 or 08 with about 50,000 miles in it, plus the video headrests for the grand kids, but that's 35 grand plus and I'm retirig in 3 years.
Good luck and go get that H2. ou'll love it.
