I went to 6th ave electronics, they installed a peripheral device to the stock radio/nav system, mounted inside the glove box. perfect! 189.00 installed!

2008 H3 with stock radio and Nav and XM

What kind of device did they put in? The Peripheral Electronics box? Can you tell me the model #?
And by 6th Ave. electronics, is that the store name or are you in the Manhattan area? Just curious as maybe I might be able to find a location by me.

Sorry for all the questions. I would of done what you did first time around if I knew that my box would be a pain in the a$$. Glad to see someone had success with the modding the factory radio. Now I'm looking to go down the road you did.

TJHUMMER, so do you have to control the music with your ipod or through the radio controls? i don't have an ipod so i am just using music i stored on a flash drive. does this device work for that as well?
