Default USB in H3

Hey guys, I just bought an H3 yesterday and love it! I only have one complaint and it isn't even really a complaint. My old truck had a Pioneer radio which had MP3 capability. It had a cable that ran into my glove box where I could plug up an iPod or USB memory stick and play music that was on that device. Great feature!!! One flash drive instead of hundreds of CDs. I know this is now a feature on a lot of newer GM vehicles. Anyone know if there is a upgrade kit that would make my 08 H3 radio be able to do this??

This is a HUMMER, not a Cadillac. You dont need music when your busy trying to hear your spotter in the hills

The pioneer head units look alot better, can control your ipod on it, watch dvd's from it, stick in thumb drives, etc. I'll see if i can get a picture uploaded of my avhp3100dvd.

Didn't know you were looking for a challenge.. You could always whittle one out of the stump of an oak tree, use a bunch of LED's and what not to add a little color and throw that in there..

I wouldn't call that the easy way out.

I put a box made by a company called Dice in mine. Another company called Peripheral Electronics or something makes one as well. It hooks up to the back of the stock GM unit (I have the NAV so I didn't want to swap either)and theoretically it is supposed to work but has been real shady. It works one day, then doesn't another. And ever since I hooked up ScanGuageII, it says XM error and hasn't worked at all. I don't recommend that route.
