Uh-oh...clear fluid puddle in the garage
Found a 12" puddle of clear fluid (not water) under the H3 the morning. I assume its trans fluid but it could be from any hydraulic fluid source. Anyone know if the color is significant or have similar leakage? Itsnot an insignificant drip. I have a call into the dealer. There goes 18 months of no trouble.

look at your axle seal on the driver's side of the front diff. mine leaked onto the driveway, and was colorless. if your seal is leaking, you'll see discoloration (looks wet)around where the axle comes out, and running down the side of the diff to the drain plug. i've had mine replaced twice, on 2 different front diffs, and a friend of mine with an 03 H2 has the same problem (but no extended warranty so he's putting off the repair)

Mental note, buy extended warranty ... another 3 grand down the drain ... LOL! If nothing else but for the fact of good ol' Murphy and his !@#$%!@#$ law ... LOL!

it was only $2800, but i've already made that back close to 3 times with all the repairs, even with a $100 deductible. for some reason, the bus breaks things in a big way when it breaks. the replacement mirrors alone were $1000, and that was the original style

I have puddles every morning here, but it has been cold and snowing and my garage is heated. Do you live somewhere hot? Doesn't the condenser for the air condition or if you have defrost on, will leave puddles? I have had them in the summer.
