Default Turned a roof rack into a light rack today

I had an extra roof rack that I mounted 4 Hella 700s to today. Very minor modding to get them to work with the factory roof rack. Inexpensive mod that cost under $200! Here are a few pics.

Great idea!!! Did you need to modify the mounting hardware on the lights? Did you get them to fit in the channel on the cross bar?

I am curious how you got them mounted.

Thanks!!!

I basically flipped the mounting hardware upside down. It fit in the channel perfect. Then shimmed the bracket up with washers & slightly ground some plastic off the light ( very tight fit). Cut the rubber strip so it fit in-between the lights nice & tight. Looks like a factory bar up close. I am very pleased with how this came out.
