Hey guys, not sure if this was discussed or not, couldn't find much by searching the forum.

But, will I run into any issues installing a Tuff Country 4" lift kit on my '09 H3? The kit indicates that it goes up to '08 models but I'm wondering if there's any difference between the '08 and '09 models at all.

I found a good deal (I think) for the kit- $1189

Will it work?

 

The suspension components are interchangeable for all H3 years (A arms, leafs, shock mounts etc...), Alpha models have higher spring rate T Bars. Some fasteners and misc related parts were sourced from different suppliers so they are not all identical.

I would research your purchase further for all of the related costs you may not be aware of.

I'm aware of most of the additional costs. The kit doesn't include shocks, so I'll have to buy those as well as buy new rims because I need less backspacing (& don't wanna go with spacers).

So new shocks, rims, & tires and hopefully we can do most of the installation by ourselves and save cash. Ordered new HID headlights (thanks Wtfturner) and LED rears, and expect to have a new build thread by the end of the summer for you guys.
