AC Delcrap batteries are notorious for going bad. Normally, on every GM vehicle, I have owned, the positive terminal will begin to leak acid. Corrosion on the frame, battery dies, etc.... My advise would be to replace that battery with an Interstate or Optima asap.. I had a new battery waiting in my garage when I drove mine home from the dealership, after purchase. While the replacement of another brand is not covered under the warranty, it's just good piece of mind. My $.02.

not sure on the H3, but the H2 has a "memory" for the transmission, that will adjust over time to your primary driving conditions. that's why someone driving in a flat valley floor 90% of the time will notice an ugly experience climbing over the Sierra Nevada mountains once in a while.
I don't think the H3 has the "Adaptive Tuning" you were trying to say..Never seen anything mentioning it...My Land Rover did though and I know what you mean..
I can tell you it was a hinderence more than a benifit..The reason I say that is; If you did a lot of putt-putt driving around for a couple of days even hours, it would learn that pattern of driving..then when you jumped on it, to merge in front of a semi-truck entering on to the expressway..The tranny was slow to respond in the down shifts and would up shift too soon...For that reason alone, I keep a roll of toilet paper in the glove box.[sm=smiley3.gif]

My H3 does the same thing......It down shifts really rough sometimes. It will also hesitate when in 4 gear andwhen youlet off of the gas and then apply again. I am at 46,000 miles..... I just had the whole transmission systemserviced at the dealership and had them run there inspection. Everything turns out fine. It still shifts funny and hesitates at times when easingoff the gas at high speeds.

It may be shifting into 4 when you coast?

No wonder why breaks wear out faster in automaticss

Any way all automatics I have drive feel like they are "slipping"
