Traded in my Rubicon for a H3T
The H3T is one sweet ride. The Jeep was alot of fun too but it was total utility. Not many creature comforts. I mainly did the trade because I really need a truck to haul my dirt bike in. Got tired of hooking up the trailer. The I5 seems to have more acceleration than the 6 in the Jeep. The length and width are taking some getting use to, but otherwise, I'm very happy with my trade. I got the splash guards and bed extender. Also going to get the bike chock when they come in. Of course, I had to get the sunroof to retain somewhat of an "open air" feeling.
Just another stock white H3t:

Congrats! My friends got a Rubicon(s) when they first came out (2004) and they were very capable. I guess other than the obviously longer wheelbase, they would be similar offroad, except the Jeep obviously has the advantage of SFA and front articulation (I had a 98 5.9 ZJ lifted and flipnA that thing could flex and never let me down).
However, I'm in the same boat where I wanted (needed) a truck now and there's not much out there that's ready to go as much as these, although it's a shame they (the one I want) is so hard to find and so darn expensive!

Mine was a 2006. I bought it new and drove it for about 2 1/2 years. Including a 1600 mile round trip to Houston pulling a 12' trailer with a motorcycle:
and another 1600 mile round trip to Houston in 40 hours. It never left me stranded and I still have major respect for Wranglers.
It was like a swiss army knife:
Door/no doors/top/no top/hard or soft. So many options.
If Jeep had a pickup version, like the Brute conversion, I probably would have bought one. Never drove a JK, but I hear they are pretty comfy compaired to the TJ. After 2 1/2 years of bouncing around and rumbling down the road in the Jeep, the H3T was a much appreciated change and is a better fit for me. Gonna miss dropping the top though. Hopefully the sunroof will help scratch that itch.

Congrats on your H3T! Auto or 5 speed? I thought the base model came with the steel wheels?
I picked up an 09 H3 for my wife last month and I've been trying to talk her in to letting me trade my Colorado for a H3T. All these pictures of H3Ts are killing me!

^^Typical GM, sad to say...I am having such a difficult time finding the right combo of truck (color/options)...They all seem to be black or white (or similar color) and all fully loaded [Alpha - which is what I'm looking for].
I was going to suggest...how hard would it be to make something? I haven't studied them enough yet (don't have mine yet), but can't be that difficult to make or source from other/modify accessories...Still, they shouldn't advertise all that stuff, argh.
