That's a very thorough explanation, thanks for the post. Too bad at work they block photobucket (no idea why, we're about to throw out our Websense install anyway, garbage).

Thanks!

My dealer indicated performing a"ride height adjustment" to essentially level the H3 is perfectly acceptable, but only as applied to stock wheel/tire set-ups (base or Adv). Thirty-five inch tireson 20" wheelsmay bea different matter.

I'm just curious. Whats the measurement from the center of the axle to the fender lip? Your H3 looks to be sitting about the same as mine and my measurement is 25". Everything I read says no more than 24.25". Thanks.

i was told the same thing (not a big deal)by the dealer when i had mine tightened. i think the cost was similar too. as long as the dealer did it, i would think you're in the clear...

Looks great!! I can't get over how much better H3's look with the torsion bars adjusted. Here's mine with the new Goodyear MT/R 35"s loaded up and ready for a weekend of wheelin and camping.

im kinda confused , but would this be ok to do if you had bigger tires and stock rims? would it hurt anything if you went off roading like if you jumped or hit something hard would it break the tortion bar or spring or anything [sm=hiya.gif]

i've had my bars cranked since i bought it 3 years ago, and i put 37's on shortly after. if that bolt was gonna fail, it would have failed by now. the bus has been in the shop way too many times for the techs to blame the multiple problems on the t-bar adjustments, yet they never have. science teaches us one thing about theoretical calculations - they're theories. when you apply them in the real world there are too many variables that can't be accounted for in the lab.
