Question Tire suggestion towing 4 down

I'm looking to replace my tires 06 H3 with Bridgestone 285/75 R16's on it now. This is our everyday car which we use for off-road whenever we can and it's towed behind our motorhome (we're fulltimers so it's towed 12 to 15k a year. Looking for suggestions on the best all around tire and something that will hold up well to being towed.

Anyone else doing anything similar or have some experience that might help in deciding on the best tires to get?

Thanks in advance for any help....

Chip at Chip's Grand Tire here in Moab recommended the BFG's and since I've see a lot of favorable comments on them I decided to go with them. We'll just have to see how they hold up to towing. Chip's advise - rotate every 5000 miles - so we're keeping track of the odometer and the towed miles and we'll keep them rotated.

Great guy - good place and really good service if you're in Moab and need any tire work.

How practical is it to have 2 sets of tires? It may not work for you, but you could have the best of both worlds that way.

I live in my RV so wouldn't have any place to keep a second set of tires and changing tires every time I go wheeling sounds like an awful lot of work

goodyear wrangler silentarmors. in the 285/75/16 they are load range e prograde and are excellent for towing. if you want a higher load range you have bump your wheel size to a 19.5 inch and a size 8r/19.5 tire which are load range f which you can not get for a light duty truck unless you are using a 19.5, 22, or 24 inch wheels. please correct me if im wrong!

Default We're towing the car - not car towing something

The towing I'm referring to is how the tires hold up to being towed
