I have 17 by 8.5 v-tec tires. I am looking for 37 inch pro comp xtreme mud tires. But what exact size should I be looking at to fit these wheels. Just trying to educate myself before I get going on this.

I also understand that I will need to adjust the front end to make sure they don't rub.

I apologize for the easy question. I am just not sure and don't seem to find an answer on the internet.

depending on the offfset, you may not have to raise the front at all. 37 12.50 17 MT's will fit on the stock 18 x 8.5 with only rubbing on the swaybar. Not a big deal at all as long as you're not putting on a 13.50 wide.
I cannot remember the stock offset off hand, but thought it was 6" bs.
You'll have to find what the specs on that wheel are to make sure they will not stick way out (example would be 4 1/2 bs). If you can get a 5" bs wheel or 5 1/2" that will get you closer to stock specs and will help with the 37" tire fitment.
