Timing Advance
Has anyone tried to advance the timing on an H3? I have a good friend that advanced his timing on his Armada and it made a tremendous difference on bottom end. If not what other after market parts have people used that have made a difference.

RE: Timing Advance
I do not think you can, nor would it be wise. The L52 = 06 3.5l and LLR = 07 3.7L have coil on plug ignition systems. From a press release:
The coil-on-plug ignition system delivers a high-energy spark, which contributes to clean and consistent combustion, enabling compliance with emissions and onboard diagnostic misfire requirements. The electronic engine-sensing and spark control system also contributes to improvements in fuel economy, high-speed performance and engine efficiency. It has no moving parts, requires no timing adjustments and eliminates the need for spark plug wires.
Do the PCMforless tune and it takes care of all that and a bunch more. Best bang for the buck performance mod I've seen in a long time. Do your other mods first.
You said Armada. [&:] Thats's a farm town, not a truck. [:'(] Welcome any way bigdanes. Enjoy the forums.
