Tie Rod and CV Part Numbers?

Can anyone show me on GMPartsDirect.com exactly what needs to be ordered to fix the common breakages of tie-rods and CV's?
For example, I don't know if I need the inner, or outer tie rod, or both?
And I don't have a clue on the CV's...

The outer TRE is usually what bends/breaks, but you should carry both inner/outer to be safe. And you want the larger 16mm ones so get ones for a 07-08 model. I don't have the p/n handy but can get it if you need.
The CV is listed in the catalog as an axle assembly, but gmpartsdirect doesn't show a price. Again, I should be able to get you a part number if needed. Just gotta go through my paperwork when I get home.

If I purchase the entire axle assembly I should just be able to remove the entire old unit and slip this one in while only removing the brake caliper and spindle nut, right?
Thanks Sewie.
