Default Thinking about new wheels

I want to take off my stock rims and put on something more aggressive without having to do any further modding.

Ive grown fond of the Dick Cepek Torque's
16x8
6x5.5
4 1/2 back spacing
no offset

my question is will these fit ok and can i fit 285s without rubbing.
Thanks in advance for the help.

You'll be fine, you can fit up to 315's without modifying the vehicle.

Just picked these up tonight! Go 35's they just look so bad *** and you'll make the jeeps wish they could fit them without modification!

You don't need a lift to beat on your truck with 35" tires. As a matter of fact, just the other day I was reading a thread on another hummer forum where a member with a Rancho lift was pretty much breaking something every time he went out wheeling with his lift. Once was a tie rod, the other was a CV joint that cracked liked an eggshell, and no one was else was having this problems with their unlifted H3's.

I seriously considered a lift for awhile, but meh, it doesn't really add a ton of ground clearance, and you can wheel just fine without it. 35" tires and TBar level is more than enough for me!

With the $1,400+ install I'd spend for the lift I can go bilsteins all around and have enough money for an exhaust, cold air intake, and PCM tune too. I'd rather have all that than a lift.

I second that motion. all very good investments. I think my h3 has plenty of clearance with the tbar cranked and 285's, I had to put my nerf bars back on because anybody under 5'10" struggled to climb in. haha. its a good thing when it comes to the ladies though.... You can be the nice guy and say, "let me help you babe"....as I'm lifting them in like a male cheerleader would. Lol
