Going to run http://www.morrismountainorv.com/ when I get off work this time and was wondering about paint protection for my H3. I was thinking of contacting a sign company that sells magnetic signs and getting a set made to fit my H3, for door/side protection.

Is there a set already made for the H3 like the H2 has? Do they work well or really not worth it?

If your looking for anything magnetic...I think Hummerguy is your man. J/K C'mon it was too easy. I just couldn't resist.

 

I have not seen anything for the H3 yet. Even if you get something made for the doors, it's the plastic fenders that are going to take all the beating.

 

Think I should magnetic the doors and sides and 3m tape the fenders? Anyone have any advice? Besides not going offroad! [&:]

 

Thats about all you can do. Make sure you use a painters tape.

 

But then again, if something is going to damage the fenders, it will go through the tape also.

My advice = Have fun but,Be carefull.

 

get some vinyl cling. they sell huge sheets of it. get the thick stuff. not sure exactly what its called. you know that stuff that sticks to windows and peels off. cut to fit where ever. it will protect you from even bad scuffs. maybe not as much protection as magnets but itll stick to plastic. its a lot cheaper too, like 18 bux for 3'x8' sheet. wash your H3 first.
