Default Test driving an '07 H3

Hello all, I'm currently test driving a H3 and absolutely love it. I have a question that I can't find anything on. I've searched google and searched these forums... This 2007 H3 has "Pro Sport" under the H3 logo. It does have the chrome appearance package, but I can't find anything explaining what the Pro Sport means. Any info would help... sorry if this is a dumb question, just starting to pick up on the Hummer stuff after years of performance cars

Thanks,
J.T.

Can you post a pic? I've never heard anything about a "Pro Sport", so it could just be a decal that the previous owner put on there.

it means nothing, either a dealer or previous owner added the decal or name plate/badge... It is not an official recognized model from GM.

Thanks guys, I had a feeling it wasn't anything special, but the previous owner did do a very good job on it.. It does look professional and something that could have been added from the factory. I'll post some pics as soon as I can, it may be too dark when I get home tonight though..

The H3 has 265/75R16's, and from what I have read on the web, that means I can't have the off-road suspension right? The tread on the tires isn't great, so I'm considering having new 285/75R16's put on, but I'm not sure if it would be better waiting until I can beef the suspension as well... any opinions would be appreciated, I'm new to the off-road world, my comfort zone is on the drag strip

Also, I'm calling my dealer later today to finalize the purchase

Shouldn't be any need to "beef up" the suspension, you'll be fine with 285's. From my limited test driving, the non-Adventure H3s seem to ride a little nicer on road anyway. The two big things you get with the adventure/off-road package are the locking rear diff and 4:1 transfer case, I don't see the off-road suspension as a big deal. Plenty of people running around on 315's without off-road suspension.
