Default Tank-O-Gas Challenge

I just drove 405 miles on one tank of gas.

I challenge you to fill your tank up, set the trip meter, report the most miles driven on one full tank of gas before refill.

The highest number wins.

Cheers

What were the conditions? I drive in 100 plus degrees (Scottsdale) and mostly highway at speeds that range from 70-75. I usaually get around 410 miles per tank full. I think I will get better when the temps go down. You are the first person I have read about who has achieved 20mph. Most of the posts are far less mph.

I'm getting about 360-375 from 3/4 of a tank I never let it go lower than that.

I don't know what you guys are doing but my H-3 couldn't go that far if it was going down hill in neutral with the wind behind it. 230-240 per tank max. Getting just over 12 mpg . 12.4 to be exact on my last tank. This thing is a gas hog with no power. My silverado SS had a 6.0 345 hp V-8 with all wheel drive and did better than the H-3 . I don't get it.

Damn it, why can't this be like golf? Can we get a "winner" for lowest mileage just for ****s and giggles?

This was pure highway driving with a lite foot.

If you are getting 12 or 13 then you must be a lead foot or something is wrong with your rig.

i won't let my H3 go lower than a quarter tank either.....then it gets topped back up/off. Will try to record the mileage and check my mpg....think i've got 3,000 miles so far.

My best so far was 305 miles per tank. Mostly city type driving. Looking for a few more with the new K&N intake. I am at 190 at 1/2 tank. The bottom half seems to empty faster than the top half of the tank?

Mine is never below 3/4 tank..I always keeper topped up..Anyways I'm too lazy right now to look..But do we H3'ers have a low fuel indicator/warning?....Besides the gauge? letting us know we have a gallon or so left? I mean, isn't there something that says "Dude (or Dudett if that be the case), you need to stop at the NEXT gas station?
