T-Bar adjustment / alignment

T-Bar adjustment / alignment
After my T-Bar adjustment I did the alignment as some appreciated...
The result was, everything was still in tolerance. Only the toe seems to have changed a little, but it still was in tolerance.
That means, an alignment is not neccessary after doing the T-Bar adjustment.

RE: T-Bar adjustment / alignment
An alignment ishighly recommendedafter a T Bar lift. Mine is not completely level (I left the front a tad low) and was out over 1.5 degrees on the driver side.
It is a matter of how much T bar adjustment you actually make, and where the factory had originally set it on your particular truck. The lower your starting point, and the higher you end up, the more the alignment settings will be effected. If somebody just took the driver side droop out, without really raising the front a significant amount, you probably can get away without having the alignment check?? Watch the tires for wear.
I think what the good General meant was no change was necessary to his truck after having the alignment checked.

Well not too sure what the book answer is butI was taught for the price that any time you do suspension work its a good idea to have an alignment. Just my opinion but for the piece of mind I have it checked.

RE: T-Bar adjustment / alignment
I leveled my truck, then got it aligned a few months ago.. A few days ago, in the interest of trying to improve mileage, I lowered the front end back down just a little. I'm talking like 1/2 an inch measured on both sides. I took it to check the alignment, and it was off more than you would think from just a small move like that. I would always get the alignment especially if you are running more aggressive mud terrain tires.

Your results of it falling in tolerance would be, by my guess, lucky. If I had to guess, more often than not you really should get an alignment. When I do mine, I will take it in.
