Thanks guys. For 10 bucks each off the rack I’m pretty happy with them. One is for my Daylighters up front, the other is a manual switch to turn on the reverse lights. Always helps to have a little extra light out back.
As for the plastic clips holding in the button blanks, my first instinct was to reach for the Dremal too. But they can get away from you and scar things up from time to time. So for more control I used a utility knife blade held in a small pair of vise-grips. I heated the blade with a propane torch and used it as a hot knife. They came right off nice and clean with very little pressure on the blade.
A manual electric fan switch is used to operate the fan when the vehicle engine is shut off. This allows you to cool the fluid in the radiator without adding any additional heat. I have this setup in my Mustang to cool the system while waiting in the staging lanes between rounds. It can be a useful tool in many situations.

I would wire in an electric on/off override to the e-fan in case I'm out wheeling and need to turn the fan off. Like if I have to cross water or I get into a mud puddle that's deeper than I had originally thought and the water starts getting over the bumper I can shut the fan off and not have the fan slapping around in the water or burning up the motor or brushes/armature if submerged. Generally I stay away from the deep stuff but accidents can happen.
