Switched Cig Lighter Outlet?

Switched Cig Lighter Outlet?
Does anyone know if the H3 has a switched (on when the ignition is on and off when the ignition is off) cigarette outlet in any one of the two outlets? I use a radar detector in one of them and it's always on causing the battery to die after a while sitting. There is two of them. One of them should be able to switch off.Other vehicles do....[:@]

very strange that a radar detector would cause your battery to die. I have mine hardwired as my gps is. Both are on 24/7 and my battery has never gone dead. I'd look into your battery or alternator if a small radar detector draw is killin it.

RE: Switched Cig Lighter Outlet?
Thanks Guys. I may do just that.
The battery has died on me twice in the last three weeks because it is very cold here (Pittsburgh) and it's not in use to charge it. I had my knee replaced 12/28 and can'tplay in the snowyet. That's the worse part.
Anyway...
I've called the local Hummer service dept and told them of the battery problem. I still have the Delco battery in it. Hopefully they will pick it up soon.
