"Rebreather" wrote on behalf of me. Yes I have checked my book. Tried to change the setting via the DIC. Tried to press the reset stem 2 secs, 5 secs and 10 sec as suggested in other forums. Nothing works. But when I put the key in the ignition the DIC lights up and shows "KM 0000000 TRIP" for a second or two before it shows the distance in miles again. Any suggestion??

then let me ask a dumb question, are we working on an h2 or an h3.
I simply don't bother reading my book if others don't read theirs first.
you know a lot of people ask first,

this is the h3 section. ill try my h3 just for fun.

I agree with Rebreather. Why do you happythree assume that we do not read our books first before asking a question here??? Quite insulting, you know...And if you do not remember the question here it is again, just for you, happythree, "How do I switch between meters and miles on an H3." and ...please do not bother to answer if you are not willing to help me/us out. Now you are wasting OUR time!

I found this information but could not verify - Does this help?

The DIC has different modes which can be accessed by pressing the trip odometer reset stem on the DIC. These modes are explained in the following section. The DIC trip odometer reset stem is located on the instrument panel cluster next to the DIC display. To
scroll through the available functions, press and release the reset stem.

the speedo reads both mph and kph! so to switch, you look at the one you are used to .how ive missed that I don't know.!
as I think back 20-30 yrs most cars do that.
my book is not clear on the odo. it does say, miles for usa, kilo for Canada.

it looks like its fixed in my book.
